The Pdf Edit – PDF Photos Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of PDF Photos by The Pdf Edit ("PDF Photos", "we", "us", or "our") iPhone and iPad application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. License

PDF Photos grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the App.

2. User Content

You may have the opportunity to submit feedback, suggestions, or other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant PDF Photos a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such User Content in connection with the operation of the App and our business.

3. Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Please review it carefully to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

4. Google Drive Integration and Data Usage

The App may allow you to connect your Google account to import files from Google Drive.

• We use Google Drive read-only access (drive.readonly scope) solely to allow you to browse, select, and import files into the App
• Access to Google Drive is initiated only by your explicit action
• The App does not create, modify, delete, or manage files in your Google Drive

Data Handling

• Files selected from Google Drive are processed locally on your device for viewing, conversion, or editing
• We do not upload, store, or retain Google Drive file content on our servers

Restrictions

• Google user data is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling
• Google user data is not shared with third parties

Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Analytics and Advertising

PDF Photos may use third-party tools such as Firebase Analytics or advertising platforms to collect usage data and improve the App.

• These services may collect non-Google data such as device information and usage behavior
• Google Drive data is never shared with analytics or advertising services

By using the App, you consent to such data collection as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and all related content, including text, graphics, logos, and images, are the property of PDF Photos or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use or reproduce any part of the App without prior written consent.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the App or its users.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL PDF Photos BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, FOR USING THE APP.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
